The CRS Mission

Yasuko Kasaki The Arts Healing Lifestyle

CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing) is a non-religious, spiritual community center, founded by writer and spiritual counselor/teacher Yasuko Kasaki, her students, and artist/producer Christopher Pelham in order to provide individuals from all walks of life with the knowledge and tools to manifest their limitless creative power as a reflection of universal beauty. In keeping with this mission, the Center offers programs such as guided meditations, counseling, mind/body/spirit healing therapies, A Course in Miracles, yoga, art/dance/drama therapies, art technique and composition training, artist residencies, and opportunities to present, perform, exhibit or publish. The Center maintains a gallery space and boutique in its lobby and produces a performance series (contemporary dance, butoh, theatre, video, clown, puppetry. music). In 2006, CRS began producing and publishing a catalog of spiritual books, CDs, and other literature.

CRS Expansion: A Call for Partners

New-Center-Lobby_0.jpgNext year, CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing) plans to open a larger space in Manhattan that will enable us to offer a rich and synergistic blend of arts, healing, and cultural programs and services. We are working with Propeller Group (developers of Greenbelt and CPR, the green dance facility recently opened by John Jasperse and Jonah Bokaer) to bring together a vibrant coalition of partners and to locate and develop the proper space to sustain this community. The new center will be designed to have a minimal environmental footprint and to provide a comfortable and inspiring atmosphere for artistic endeavors as well as the necessary privacy, comfort and serenity for healing work. If you would like to take part in this community, read on!
