An Introduction to ACIM-Based Healing at CRS

CRS was founded by Psycho-Spiritual Counselor & Healer Yasuko Kasaski to extend the principles of A Course in Miracles (ACIM), which forms the foundation of her counseling and teaching practices. The essence of this philosophy is that the only reality is truth and the only truth is unchanging, perfect love. We are all expressions of this holy spirit of love; all else, all apparent sickness, vulnerability, separation, and sin are merely the delusions of an out-of-control imagination, a projection of mental confusion. How do we free ourselves of these torments? Simply by remembering our true spiritual reality.

It is impossible to try to heal the body while leaving the mind confused, because the confusion will continue to be reflected by the perception of additional subsequent torments. We nevertheless advocate educating ourselves about the workings and care of the body and the world of perception in order to mitigate our suffering and, even more importantly, in order to understand, recognize, and let go of the wrong-minded thought patterns that cause our apparent suffering. In the words of George Clinton, "Free your mind, and your ass will follow."

There is currently a wait of several months to see Ms. Kasaki privately. If you would like to see her sooner, please consider purchasing an ACM membership. In addition to supporting the Center, your membership will entitle you to priority scheduling. Currently, ACIM members can see Ms. Kasaki several months sooner than non-members. To add your name to the waiting list, please contact Ms. Kasaki's assistant Aya Shibahara at aya@crsny.org.

Many of Ms. Kasaki's clients and students are healers in their own right also offer healing to the CRS community. The healing they offer may take many different outwards forms according to the gifts and interests of the individual healer, but each is informed and inspired by study of ACIM with Ms. Kasaki.

Since CRS opened, other healers have come to the Center, drawn here no doubt by the desire to share healing with a welcoming community in a beautiful, peaceful space. Some of theses healers may have had some experience with A Course in Miracles in the past. Others may be just beginning to learn about it. Their approach to healing may differ from Ms. Kasaki's or her students'; however, each healer listed here has made a commitment to the Center and its community and a commitment to healing and to being healed. We therefore offer them the opportunity to share their gifts and continue to learn and grow with us.
