In this introductory lecture, we will describe how the Course came into existence, what its universal spiritual themes are, and how the Course structure and exercises are designed to achieve its intended results. If there is time, we will also practice a meditation exercise drawn from the Course to provide an experience of what doing the Course is actually like.
